곧 means both 'soon' and 'immediately': 곧 올 거야 (coming soon) vs 곧 잠들었어 (fell asleep right away).

Pattern: 곧 + [verb]

Example: 곧 시험이야 (exams are soon) / 곧 이해했어 (understood right away)

따위 = dismissive 'something like'

내 다짐 따윈 한순간 풀어 헤쳐져

따위 belittles the noun: 'my so-called resolve.' Often self-deprecating.

Pattern: [noun] + 따위

Example: 밥 따위 먹지 마 (don't eat that junk) / 난 너 따위 필요 없어 (I don't need the likes of you)

-아 버리다 = do completely

넌 속삭여 "삼켜버려 the sugar rush"

-버리다 = completion, no going back, often relief or regret.

Pattern: [verb stem] + 아/어 버리다

Example: 다 먹어버렸어 (ate it all up) / 깜빡해버렸어 (completely forgot)

Emphatic can't: -ㄹ 수가 없다

The 가 adds emphasis to -ㄹ 수 없다: truly can't refuse.

-아 가다 = gradually (going)

오히려 signals the opposite of expectation: 'on the contrary, that's good.'

Pattern: 오히려 + [sentence]

Change + progression: -아지다 + -아 가다

것 nominalizes: 'the bad one is me.' Covers person/thing/act in one word.
