-ㄹ수록 = the more

한 발 한 발 내디뎌 갈수록 내 마음은 떨려

-ㄹ수록 with -아 가다: the further I step, the more...

Pattern: [stem] + 아 + ㄹ수록

Example: 알아갈수록 좋아져 (the more I know, the better) / 가 볼수록 신기해 (the more I visit, the cooler)

-아 온 = have been ~ing (till now)
